An exercise in constraints, I re-imagined the sprites, spatial relationships, animations and UI of Bubble Symphony, a 90s game by Taito, as an official port for the Pico 8.
The pico 8 is a "fantasy console" with various limitations, a fixed 128x128px resolution and a fixed 16 color palette. Converting the 320x224px 256 color game to this was a hard puzzle to solve.
